What does the application and interview process look like? We’ll be assessing and selecting individuals based on their application submission. Our diverse and inclusive judging panel will carefully review and evaluate each applicant's submission.

 

How much time do  I  need to commit to the program? The programme runs from 31st May 2023  to 30th October 2023. Each module has a three-week study period, with under 10 hours spent studying a week. The programme can be completed on a part-time or full-time basis.

 

Can you apply if you are not from the UK?  The programme is only open to individuals within the UK. 

 

When will successful applicants be informed? 23rd May 2023

 

Does YSYS continue to support participants after the Scholarship is over? Yes, you’ll become a lifelong member of our online community, with continued access to learning and development opportunities from YSYS and our Community Partners. After receiving your Google UX Design Certificate, you can apply for relevant jobs in the industry. YSYS will connect you with our network of Recruitment Partners through exclusive events, where you can build meaningful relationships with potential employers, get insights into their unique cultures, and learn about their hiring processes.

 

What if I don’t have a laptop, can I still take part? We understand that having the right tools is essential for your success, which is why we're providing laptops to successful applicants who need them for the duration of the programme.

 

Can I apply if I am already in the UX field? Yes of course you can. The programz provides an introduction into UX Design with an accredited certificate, which is beneficial for UX Designers at all levels.
